Start your journey with the best introduction to Amsterdam.

A unique vision of the city which has a unique style of combining history with pure entertainment.

On this tour, you will hear stories you would never hear otherwise. With an expert guide, you will experience the history of this city, from its start as a muddy village on the River Amstel, to how it became the most important trading city in Europe.

From the wild history of prostitution and drug decriminalization to the tragedy of Anne Franks's story and Nazi occupation, the aim is to give you a perfect introduction to this city. After the tour, you will have all the time you want to explore further with fellow travellers.

Whether you visit one of Amsterdam's famous museums or check out the cafés and bars of the Jordaan District, this tour will help you get your bearings in this often confusing city and allow you to make the most out of your stay here.

At the end of the tour, our guides will give you the information to enjoy an hour boat trip on the canals of Amsterdam.

  1. We sat inside and listened to a recording with repeating stats and terrible jokes. Once we went outside and just enjoyed the cruise, it was 100 times more enjoyable. If it didn’t have the outside seating, I would say a canal tour is a skippable attraction.

  2. Spending time in Amsterdam for my partners big birthday, booked this canal tour which lasted 70 minutes and it was an excellent way to see the city.
we spent 70 minutes touring the canal ways of Amsterdam and saw far more than if we had been on foot, so worth the money. Great boat and an excellent way of seeing such a beautiful town.
Could not hear the Captain very well but we were happy looking at stuff ourselves.
Suggestion moving forward is to have a more interactive map on the table so at all times you can see where the boat is in relation to Amsterdam City.
