Amsterdam Jewish Quarter Private Tour
One of the most beautiful walks in the city with some of the more sad stories of its history
Considered, from centuries XVI and XVII, like the European Jerusalem by ample freedom of cult that was exerted within its limits. Amsterdam will host much of the Jewish population being expelled in different parts of Europe for religious reasons.
On a route through the old Jewish quarter, which will not take you more than a couple of hours, the traveller can enjoy the various points of interest in the area.
From Waterlooplein, where the Spinoza monument is located, to the Amsterdam Zoo, the site of the National Holocaust Memorial, and from the Hermitage area of Amsterdam, the location of The Shadow Canal Monument, to the Nieuwe Herengracht canal, where we will find the Impressive Portuguese Synagogue, during the tour of the Jewish cultural district travels more than 45 points of interest related to the culture of the Jewish community of the city.

Naomi was great. I went with my 13 year old son and she easily educated us to our levels. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
I highly recommend Naomi’s tour. He has a lot of experience as a guide and tremendous knowledge! We were lucky enough to have a small group so we could go off script and ask a lot of questions. This is by far one of the best tours we’ve ever done.
Naomi is a brilliant scholar combined with personal warmth. We were 2 couples and she answered all our questions, which were many. Our tour was the highlight of our trip and we really recommend it.
